Physiotherapy:
The Physiotherapy department offers several different methods of assessment and treatment to restore normal function or minimize dysfunction. In doing so, Physiotherapists assist people with physical impairments to achieve the optimum level of health and independence. Modalities used include Electrotherapy (Laser therapy, short wave, neck and back traction, tens, ultra sound, infra red, and electrical stimulation), hydrotherapy, manual and mechanical exercise and therapeutic massage. Accessed by inpatient and outpatient as well. Physiotherapy services are offered to inpatients and outpatients, both male and female.
Lately, we have acquired a vacuum-compression therapy unit (The Vasotarin), the newest in its class. This unit is an automated therapy procedure that treats peripheral arterial circulatory disorders in extremities due to tropic vascular changes, ischemia due to diabetes and other causes.
